Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to firm on limited comparable sales. Trade activity was moderate on
moderate to good demand. Much needed rain across the drought stricken panhandle boosted spirits. Slaughter cows and bulls traded steady to
3.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls made up 6 percent, 1 percent replacements, and 93 percent feeders. Feeder supply consisted of 58
percent steers and bulls, 42 percent heifers. Approximately 60 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.

Steers: Medium and Large 1 few 405 lbs 166.00; lot 678 lbs 147.00;
half load 767 lbs 142.50.
Medium and Large 1-2 few 361 lbs 165.00; 550-600 lbs 138.00-144.00;
half load 727 lbs 141.00.
