Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary – Georgia Livestock Auctions that were held Thursday June 14, 2018

Cattle auctions at Calhoun (293), Greensboro (342) and Thomaston (100). Receipts Thursday 735, week ago 685, and year ago 892. Compared to one week earlier, slaughter cows and slaughter bulls mostly steady to 2.00 higher, feeder steers and steer calves lightly tested, feeder bulls
steady to 2.00 lower, bull calves 2.00 to 4.00 lower, feeder heifers mostly steady, heifer calves steady to 4.00 lower, replacement cows
steady to 2.00 higher.

Slaughter cows 22 percent; slaughter bulls 4 percent; and feeders 74 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 12 percent 
of the run; heifers 24 percent; bulls 42 percent and replacement cows 22 percent. Feeders over 600 lbs totaled around 5 percent.
