Compared to last week, a very light offering of feeder steers and heifers sold fully 10.00 to 15.00 lower. Slaughter cows 5.00 to 8.00 lower. Pretty much every sector of the cattle market still trying to find a solid bottom and at this point ?sharply lower? is an understatement. Supply and demand light. Cows and bulls accounted for 40 percent of the total offering. The feeder supply consisted of 78 percent steers and bulls and 22 percent heifers; 21 percent of all the feeder cattle weighed over 600 lbs.
