   Compared to last sale: no comparison available as the last covered sale was
three weeks ago.  There was a firm undertone observed in this first run of the
stock show specials.  Due to weather conditions, the run was lighter than
expected as several of the cattle have been transferred to January 20th sale.
Trade activity and buyer demand was moderate to good.  The run consisted of 100
percent feeder cattle with 48 percent steers, 52 percent heifers.  Feeder cattle
weighing over 600 lbs made up approximately 46 percent of the supply.
